Changes and More Premieres

It was a beautiful night at Shilla's Bakery, as the Maryland/DC/Virginia posses came out the woodwork and drank bubble tea and watched the third premiere of Blood Bound.

It was a fantastic turnout, and Mason admitted later that I'd been right to put out more chairs. Tom, the manager of Shilla's was nice enough to extend our hours and the woman running the cash register even stayed an extra hour to accommodate all of the people. We started off with a speech by Mason, who gave the floor to Johnny and introduced some of the trailers from Mason's first full-length film, Life With the Dice Bag.

We did get started late, but the response was excellent!! Especially loud excitable were our under-20 and male set in the back row, who seemed to rally together with pumped fists and generally overflowing testosterone every time Mary and Toni were onscreen together.

People stayed afterwards to sign up to receive copies of the film, which segués into my next point,

The Order Page is Up

So, feel free to buy the DVD. And tell all your friends to buy it. And tell them to tell their friends. But the friends of friends of friends -- no way. They're losers.

In all seriousness, buy the film. And, if you're someone who's related to the project -- family member, significant other of cast or crew, etc -- please email me (lbrown@maysun.org) and I'll direct you to the staff discount. That's right, cause we love you.
